Program Description

Event Details

William Butler Yeats (1865-1939; Nobel Prize in Literature 1923) is a fascinating, and justly renowned, poet. Among his gifts, he was able to convert personal struggles - to find meaning, love, satisfaction - into language and imagery of universal, lasting appeal. Our five-part workshop will consider selected poems from throughout his extensive body of work.

Delmar resident Jeff Cohen has led several poetry discussion series at the Library, including workshops on Emily Dickinson, Elizabeth Bishop, and Robert Frost. Jeff is a retired attorney whose career spanned private practice and public service.
