General Information:
The library’s two public meeting rooms are free of charge and available during regular library hours. Reservations must be requested at least 5 days, and up to 6 months, in advance.
Requests will be acknowledged within 7 days of being placed.
Bethlehem Public Library’s public meeting rooms may be used according to the Meeting Room Access and Use policy. Reservations booked by the public are not library-sponsored.
Requirements and Eligibility:
You must submit to the library a separate acknowledgement form before beginning the application process. The form is your agreement to the terms and conditions of the Meeting Room Access and Use policy.
A Bethlehem Public Library card or registered Albany County non-profit ID number is required to continue.
To book a room using your BPL card:
- Your library card must be linked to an active account.
- Library card holders are limited to one reservation per month.
- Meeting attendance may not exceed 30 in the Community Room or 25 in the Board Room.
- Card holders must check in at the Information Desk upon arrival.
- Your library card or photo ID will be verified at check-in; room access will NOT be granted without it.
- If you are unable to be present for your meeting, you may authorize another person to check in on your behalf. (See FAQ for more information).
To book a room on behalf of a non-profit organization:
- An ID number is required. Click here to look up your group’s ID number. You will need this information for the reservation request form.
- Your organization must have a mailing address in Albany County.
- Your group’s ID number may be used to book 1 reservation per month.
- Meeting attendance may not exceed 65 in the Community Room or 25 in the Board Room.
- You must check in at the Information Desk upon arrival for meeting.
- Your meeting must be open to the public. (See FAQ for more information).
