Hear from a physical therapist from Sunnyview Delmar to learn about risk of falls, how physical therapists screen for it, and how to decrease your risk.
Celebrate spooky season at the library with the 1935 monster-movie classic, The Bride of Frankenstein.
Paws to Read
Kids can come to the library to practice reading skills with a gentle, furry friend! A registered therapy dog will listen calmly and quietly, creating a safe space for children to practice reading skills without fear or judgment. Learning to read out loud can be scary. A friendly face, particularly one with a wagging tail, can help ease reading jitters and build confidence.
Registration is not required. Each child will have a chance to read a book of their own choice. Bring a favorite or pick one from the library shelves. For grades K-5.
