Cornell Master Gardeners Mary Monaco and Connie Metcalf will talk about the work of Doug Tallamy (author, and professor of entomology and wildlife ecology at the University of Delaware has written several books*) to help answer these questions.
Come join us to learn the importance of native plants and why they are critical to sustain food webs throughout the United States and the entire planet. What are keystone native plants and why are they important? What plants are beneficial? What can we do in Bethlehem? Start a whole new garden or just add a few new plants in an existing place….. Is this the year to start?
