Join our friends from Short & Stout Tea Company for a historical discussion of tea. Tea is the second most popular beverage in the world (only second to water), its origins date back 5000 years and encompasses the world. There has to be a good story or two in its history. This is a fun interactive session that will reveal “Who calls it Cha and who calls it Tea?”, “Robert Fortune’s Misfortunes” and “Name that Culture.” A tasting of three teas with historical context will be provided.
