Program Description
Event Details
Learn how we can tell time using shadows cast by the sun! In this program, you will make your own outdoor garden sundials to set up in your yard or garden. We will be using acrylic paint, so dress accordingly.
For grades 2-8. Register each child who will be completing the sundial project separately in order to receive supplies. It is possible for children to work together on one shared project to take home. If your children will be sharing a project, only register one person.
In the event of inclement weather, the supplies will be packaged as a take-home activity. You will be notified when they are ready for pickup.

This program will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Call or check the online calendar on the status of this program.
Social Distancing
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic participation in outdoor events that occur in-person require compliance with the library's mask and social distancing guidelines. Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring that children follow all social distancing measures required by the library at the time of the program.
