Program Description

Event Details

Learn about the power of the sun and the importance of sunscreen with this solar painting program. Paint using sunscreen on solar paper. What do you think will happen? 

For grades 2-8. Register each child who will be completing the painting project separately in order to receive supplies. 

In the event of inclement weather, the supplies will be packaged as a take-home activity. You will be notified when they are ready for pickup.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic participation in outdoor events that occur in-person require compliance with the library's mask and social distancing guidelines. Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring that children follow all social distancing measures required by the library at the time of the program.
