Listen and Learn: Duo Envol

Join us as Duo Envol, featuring Melanie Chirignan on flute and Laura Melnicoff on cello, takes the stage in our Community Room.

As neighbors in New York’s Capital Region, Melanie and Laura combine their shared passion for undiscovered gems of music and undiscovered gems of performance venues. The gorgeous local natural landscape is also a shared inspiration, and they can often be found playing music with themes of nature. Duo Envol often play classics like Bach and Mendelssohn, as well as new commissions, their own arrangements of fabulous duets, and a roster of works by women.

“Envol” is French for “flight” and “soaring” – and Melanie and Laura invite you to join them on their travels!
