While you may love the look of a lush, flower-filled garden with three seasons of continuous bloom, such a garden requires a lot of work. This presentation covers the basics of lower-maintenance gardening, including designing a lower-maintenance garden, simplifying and editing existing plantings, and suggestions of plants that require less maintenance.
This program will be led by Judith Fetterley, a Master Gardener with the Albany County Cornell Cooperative Extension. She holds a Certificate in Garden Design from the Cary Institute for Ecosystems Study and is the former owner of Perennial Wisdom, a business focused on designing small perennial gardens. She has been a serious gardener for over 30 years.
