Join us for a presentation from Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County that covers the essential steps for getting your garden off to a good start in the spring, including planning your garden, starting seeds at home, spring clean-up, amending your soil, reducing and diversifying your lawn, choosing and sitting seeds and plants, and more.

Martie Teumim has been an Albany County Master Gardener since 2001.  She is a retired high school English teacher and software trainer. Her latest interest is in native and pollinator plants. She is a member of the Capital Region Chapter of Wild Ones, a native plant and natural landscape organization.  She has two grown daughters and two grandchildren. She lives in Delmar with her husband and two cats.
