Places in 'Pride and Prejudice': A Visual Presentation

David M. Shapard author of <em>The Annotated Pride and Prejudice</em> and annotated versions of Jane Austen�s other novels will show pictures of the various locations where and when the novel occurs and discuss their history and their significance to the story. This will include examples of houses and gardens from the period in order to give a sense of the settings that the characters would inhabit. He will also relate these places and settings to Jane Austen�s own life and the places she inhabited or visited. Presented in association with the Capital New York Region Chapter of the Jane Austen Society of North America.
