What is National Novel Writing Month? NaNoWriMo is an annual challenge to encourage people to work on that novel they've always intended to write. Have you read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell or The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. These and many more were NaNoWriMo projects!
The challenge is simple: On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30. Most participants aim to write 1,667 words per day.
Join us for a write-in session every Tuesday in November. Take time to work on your project, do some research, and ask for advice. Information on plot structure, character development, writing prompts, and more will be provided to help get you to those 50,000 words! All you need to bring is ideas and a laptop or notebook. A limited number of laptops are also available to check out at the information desk.
