What is National Novel Writing Month? NaNoWriMo is an annual challenge to encourage people to work on that novel they've always intended to write. Have you read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell or The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. These and many more were NaNoWriMo projects!
The challenge is simple: On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30. Most participants aim to write 1,667 words per day.
Join us for this all-ages prep session to get you ready to start writing on November 1st! Information on NaNoWriMo, plot structure, character development, software, and writing prompts will be provided so you have all the tools to jump right in and finish your novel. And then stop by every Tuesday in November for a write-in session.
