Join us for an afternoon screening of Summer of Soul, directed by Ahmir Questlove Thompson. This music documentary explores and reclaims the legacy of the six-week 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival. It features unpublished footage of performances by Nina Simone, B.B. King, Sly and the Family Stone, Stevie Wonder, and Gladys Knight & the Pips at Mount Morris Park (now Marcus Garvey Park).
Rated PG-13, 118 minutes.
