The Sun is special to us. It is the ultimate source of everything that makes life possible on Earth. But the Sun, astronomically speaking, is just a normal, yellow, middle-sized star. Unexceptional in every way. And yet its birth, life, and likely death, illustrate the incredible ways in which our Universe builds itself. Join Dr. Mindy Townsend, Dudley Astronomer at Siena College, as she discusses our fantastically normal star. This is the second event in our Look to the Skies series.
Registration is required.
