Program Description

Event Details

Have you ever wondered why the Moon seems to change shape, or why you can sometimes see it during the day, or why it can be so bright? Join Dudley at Siena astronomer Dr. Mindy Townsend for an exploration of Earth's closest neighbor and discover what makes the Moon so weird and wonderful!

Dr. Townsend will teach us about the lunar phases. We'll make a lunar phase mobile and learn about the Moon as a place where we've been by making some Moon craters and designing our very own Moon medallion.
