Program Description

Event Details

Families will have hands-on use of a percussion instrument, play fun rhythms and musical games, all while learning about the cultural and historical context of the instruments. This program is most suitable for school-age children; pre-K children will need one-on-one adult assistance. Please sign your family up for one spot only. You can let us know how many children will be participating in the comment section. This program will be taking place outside; groups may wish to bring blankets, sun screen, hats etc. for sunny days.

All children under age 9 should be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Rain Location

In the event of inclement weather, this program will move inside the library. 

Social Distancing

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic participation in outdoor events that occur in-person require compliance with the library's mask and social distancing guidelines. Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring that children follow all social distancing measures required by the library at the time of the program.
