Laurenne Teachout, Senior Librarian from the New York State Talking Book and Braille Library (TBBL) will discuss all of the amazing services that TBBL provides.
TBBL is a free service for New Yorkers of all ages who are unable to use standard print materials. You may be eligible if you are someone with a visual, physical or reading disability. TBBL can provide a wide range of materials, equipment and services, including:
- Fiction and nonfiction braille books and magazines, including children's titles
- Digital talking books and digital talking book players
- Downloadable digital books and magazines in audio and eBraille
- NLS Zoomax braille eReaders
- Free delivery and returns through the U.S. mail
- No fines, fees or due dates
