Heightened Scrutiny

Join us for a screening of HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY, a new documentary which follows Chase Strangio, ACLU attorney and the first out trans person to argue before the Supreme Court, as he fights a high-stakes legal battle to overturn Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth (United States v. Skrmetti). An informal community discussion will follow the film screening.

HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and has since screened at select festivals across the globe.
