Fish of the Hudson River

Registration Required. Join us on Zoom for a program highlighting the incredible fish species found in the Hudson River estuary! Aiden Mabey environmental educator with the NYS DEC�s Hudson River Estuary Program will discuss the wide variety of fish species found in the River including those that prefer the freshwater in the north the salty water of New York Harbor & the brackish water in between. We'll also take an in-depth look at one fish in the Hudson who takes an incredible 1 000+ mile journey to reach us each spring---the American eel! Join us for fish tales and maybe a few live specimens.
