Dementia Basics and Support

This program will provide an overview of dementia including information about some specific types symptoms and challenges that both the person with the disease and the caregiver of that person face. The Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Initiative will also be discussed. The Initiative is a NYS Department of Health funded program that provides free resources and support to caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Presenters are from Eddy Alzheimer's Services the organization that provides the Initiative services in the Capital Region. <b>This program is supported by a grant from the New York State Department of Health. </b>
