Join us for an evening of Chinese calligraphy with expert instructor Richard Wang of the Chinese Community Center of The Capital District. We will learn about this ancient traditional art and create our own works. Registration required.
Calligraphy is a traditional line art based on Chinese words with a history of more than 3,000 years. It is an art that expresses a certain charisma, character and sentiment through lines, ink colors changes and structure. The ancients said that calligraphy is painting of heart. There are various forms of calligraphy works, including squares, one third page, half page, middle halls, banners, couplets, fans and more. https://cccalbany.org
