Have you ever read Carry On or City of Bones? These started out as fanfiction! But fanfics are not just relegated to Harry Potter, BTS or Star Wars re-imaginings; retellings such as The Lunar Chronicles series, Ella Enchanted, and even Percy Jackson can be considered fanfiction.
Come to this event to learn the history of fanfics, popular sites to read or post your own stories, the rules of copyright (important when using other creators' characters), and meet other people who like reading and writing fanfics.
Registration is not required, but it's appreciated!
