Program Description

Event Details

Sign up as a family to explore pond ecology with educator George Steele. This will be a hands-on program. Each family will have their own freshwater sample to discover the myriad life forms found in a pond. This program is most suitable for families with school-age children. Please sign up your family for one spot only; you can let us know how many children will be participating in the comment section. This program will be taking place outside; groups may wish to bring blankets, sun screen, hats etc. for sunny days.

Children (under 9)

All children under age 9 should be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Rain Location

In the event of inclement weather, this program will move inside the library. 

Social Distancing

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic participation in outdoor events that occur in-person require compliance with the library's mask and social distancing guidelines. Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring that children follow all social distancing measures required by the library at the time of the program.
