Come on in and get your backpack ready for the year with custom golden animal keychains. For those going into grades 3-12.

Please register each child/teen INDIVIDUALLY so we can ensure there are enough supplies.

Paws to Read

Paws to Read

Kids can come to the library to practice reading skills with a gentle, furry friend! A registered therapy dog will listen calmly and quietly, creating a safe space for children to practice reading skills without fear or judgment. Learning to read out loud can be scary. A friendly face, particularly one with a wagging tail, can help ease reading jitters and build confidence. 

Registration is not required. Each child will have a chance to read a book of their own choice. Bring a favorite or pick one from the library shelves. For grades K-5.
